Frequently asked questions
About money
When do I get paid, as a creator?
After your clip's tracking window closes (typically 30 days) and the verification hold passes (7–14 days), the amount becomes "available" and enters the next payout run. Every money state is visible in your wallet, and the real average time is published on the transparency page.
Can the brand refuse to pay after I've delivered?
No. The budget sits in escrow before the campaign goes active — payment on verified results executes automatically, not at the brand's discretion. What a brand can do is reject a clip at pre-approval, but only with a written reason and with your right to appeal.
What fee does the platform take?
The fee is shown transparently when the campaign is funded and is included in the invoice issued to the brand. Creators receive the amount computed from the campaign's public rate — no hidden deductions.
Is unspent budget lost?
No. When a campaign closes, unconsumed escrow stays with the brand — withdraw it or run the next campaign.
About verification
How do I know the views are real?
Numbers come exclusively from the social platforms' official APIs (already bot-filtered), only from accounts connected via OAuth, and pass through fraud scoring that analyses the whole growth curve. Screenshots don't exist as a verification method on AdLicens.
What happens when a clip gets "flagged"?
It enters the human review queue with the evidence prepared (view curve, scores, triggered rules). A human decides, with a written reason. If the flag was a false positive, the clip returns to the flow with nothing lost.
Can I submit a clip posted on someone else's account?
No — technically impossible. The URL must belong to an account connected via OAuth to your AdLicens account.
About rights and legal
What rights does the license grant?
Exactly what it says: every campaign and every approved deliverable has an attached license document stating who can use what, where, and for how long. The brand licenses the source material (clipping); the creator licenses the created asset (UGC).
Do I need disclosure on my clips?
Yes, everywhere in the EU. The correct wording per jurisdiction is shown in every campaign — see the disclosure guide.
What is DAC7 and why do you ask for tax data?
DAC7 is the EU directive requiring platforms to report creators' income to tax authorities annually. We collect the data at onboarding precisely so reporting is automatic — you also get a yearly document with your income, ready for your accountant.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from the "My account" page, any time you have no money mid-settlement. Personal data is anonymized; accounting records are kept as long as the law requires.
About the platform
Which social platforms are supported?
YouTube (full verification via the official API) at launch; TikTok and Instagram are being integrated — the real status is visible in every campaign under accepted platforms.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. No subscription for brands (you pay only the campaign budget + the fee) and free for creators, forever.
Who is behind AdLicens?
ADDO VISION SOLUTIONS SRL, a company registered in Romania, with full legal details in the legal section. The platform operates under EU law, with data hosted in the EU.
